On a memorable field trip, a group of students went on an exciting adventure to Woodside Ranch. Many of them were first-time riders, and the day began with a hands-on lesson on how to tack up horses. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, the students learned the basics of saddling and bridling, building their confidence as they prepared for their rides.
As they mounted their horses, there was a mix of excitement and nerves. However, with encouragement from their peers and instructors, several students bravely faced their fears and enjoyed their first ride, discovering a newfound love for horseback riding.
The fun didn’t stop there; the students also took part in various activities throughout the day. They went fishing, trying their luck at catching fish in a pond, and practiced their aim with an archery session. A visit to the petting zoo allowed them to interact with friendly animals.
This field trip not only taught the students valuable skills but also fostered friendships and a sense of accomplishment as they overcame their fears and embraced new experiences together. JYMS students represented their school in a great way and had an awesome time!
